“I have been a headhunter since 1997. My career until that point was principally running people businesses. I was very lucky to have been a CEO at an early age and as a woman I was in the right place at the right time to be invited to sit on a number of Plc Boards and Government Bodies. This gave me a real insight into how organisations are shaped and led and over the years my conviction grew, that in any company, the most important asset is its people.

I am now what the search industry calls a ‘top level generalist’ and have worked with many of the FTSE 100 Chairmen and CEOs at one time or another, to help them build their Boards and companies as well as their own careers and portfolios.

I led the launch of JCA Group in 2005, having previously spent eight years as a senior partner at the global search firm Spencer Stuart and before that I was the European Chief Executive of The GGT Group plc, where I was a main board director and responsible for the company's sixteen businesses across Europe.

The reason I am so proud of JCA is that I believe that the best headhunters bring to their assignments a combination of skill, diligence, intuition and experience. At JCA we have been ruthless in not compromising on the calibre of people within our team.

I graduated from Oxford with a degree in Biochemistry, and I am an Honorary Professor of Warwick Business School. I am also a qualified Executive Coach.
